I pledge to end gender-based violence.
I pledge to end gender-based violence because we live in a world where this issue is far too common. Gender-based violence contributes to a society that shames women, objectifies them, and enforces a narrative that women are not individual people. We need to rewrite this narrative and I believe this begins and ends with empowering female voices. I plan to end gender-based violence by providing an outlet for female voices to share their own stories, rewrite their own narratives and reclaim who they are and what they want to say. The following articles include stories of individual women and men who not only believe in this mission, but now have an outlet to share their voices.
